Bigg Boss Winner List: Season 1 to Season 17

Elvish Yadav was the winner Big Boss OTT season 2, while Abhishek Malhan was the runner. Bebika Dhurve, Manisha Rani, and Pooja Bhatt were among the finalists of the show.

MC Stan had bagged the Bigg Boss 16 trophy- Shiv Thakare was the first runner-up, while Priyanka Chahar Choudhary was the second runner-up.

Bigg Boss is an immensely popular Indian reality TV show currently hosted by Salman Khan. The show is based on the concept of Dutch show Big Brother and invites contestants (mostly celebrities) to be a part of it.

Due to increasing popularity and demand of the show, it is now dubbed in seven different Indian languages and currently runs on Colors TV and OTT platforms Voot and Jio Cinema.

In the show, a group of contestants, called housemates, are invited to live together in a house, completely cut-off from the real world. Their day-to-day is captured through live TV cameras are presented in the show. They are given different weekly tasks to perform and are evicted on the basis of performance and voting by the viewers.

Winners are decided among the ones who make it to the last of the end of the show and are awarded with cash prizes. In this article, we have compiled the Bigg Boss winner list from season 1 to season 17.

Bigg Boss Winner List (Season 1 to Season 17)

Winners of Bigg Boss earn name, fame and fortune and the show also offers their career an extra boost. Although the participants are mostly celebrities, actors, TV personalities, models, singers, winning Bigg Boss opens up a new gateway for their future. Here’s a list of winners of Bigg Boss from season 1 to 15 and a glimpse of their life then versus now.

Season 1 (2007) – Rahul Roy

The first season of Bigg Boss aired from 3 November 2006 to 26 January 2007 and was hosted by Bollywood actor Arshad Warsi. Famous Bollywood actor Rahul Roy won the first season and Carol Gracias was crowned the runner-up. Model-turned-actor Rahul Roy is known for his work in Hindi Indian cinema and television and is currently a movie producer with his own production house.

Season 2 (2008) – Ashutosh Kaushik

Ashutosh Kaushik was the winner of the second season of Bigg Boss in 2008. Apart from this, he has also participated and won MTV Hero Honda Roadies 5.0 in 2007. Kaushik is an actor and reality TV participant known for his role in Bollywood movies Zila Ghaziabad and Kismat Love Paisa Dilli and has also appeared as a guest on MTV Roadies 8.

Season 3 (2009) – Vindu Dara Singh

Winner of the third season of Bigg Boss was the renowned Indian film and television actor Vindu Dara Singh. Along with being awarded the season winner, he was also announced the most stylish and bold contestant and won a Chevrolet Cruze along with the winning cash prize. His housemates awarded him the title of Bade Dil Wala (big-hearted man). Vindu Dara Singh has worked in many successful films and made appearance in television shows.

Season 4 (2010) – Shweta Tiwari

Shweta Tiwari, a well-known actress of Hindi films and television, was the fourth winner of Bigg Boss and the first female contestant to win the show. She is also the winner of reality show Comedy Circus Ka Naya Daur. Shweta is known for her roles in soap operas like Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Parvarrish, Begusarai and Mere Dad Ki Dulhan. She has also appeared as a guest in Bigg Boss 6 in 2012 and in Bigg Boss 15 in 2022.

Season 5 (2011) – Juhi Parmar

Juhi Parmar is an anchor, actress, presenter, singer and dancer who gained recognition for playing the character Kumkum in the soap opera Kumkum – Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan. She appeared in the fifth season of Bigg Boss and was crowned as the winner of the show with Mahek Chahal as the runner-up. Parmar has also won the reality show Comedy Circus.

Season 6 (2012) – Urvashi Dholakia

Winner of the sixth season of Bigg Boss is another female celebrity, Urvashi Dholakia, known as her famous role as Komolika Basu in soap opera Kasautii Zindagii Kay. She was selected as the winner of Bigg Boss season 6 which aired from 2012 to 2013. Other than this, she has also participated in Nach Baliye 9 and worked in other major TV shows. Urvashi has appeared as a guest on Bigg Boss 8 in 2014 Bigg Boss 13 in 2020 and Bigg Boss 15 in 2022.

Season 7 (2013) – Gauahar Khan

Gauahar Khan is the winner of Bigg Boss season 7. The season aired in 2013 and actress Tanishaa Mukerji was the runner-up of the show. Gauhar is known for working in many notable Bollywood movies like Rocket Singh, Game, Ishaqzaade, Fever, Badrinath Ki Dulhania and Begum Jaan. In 2020, she returned to Bigg Boss as a toofani senior for its fourteenth season along with Hina Khan and Sidharth Shukla for the first three weeks.

Season 8 (2014) – Gautam Gulati

Season 8 of Bigg Boss aired in 2014 and Gautam Gulati was announced the winner of the show. He is known for his performance in soap operas Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani and Diya Aur Baati Hum. For Bigg Boss 8, Gautam was nominated for Most Fit Male Actor by Gold Awards and Most Stylish Male in Reality Series by Indian Television Academy Awards. He won the latter. He has also appeared in 2015 in Bigg Boss 9 and in 2016 in Bigg Boss 10 as a guest.

Season 9 (2015) – Prince Narula

Prince Narula is an actor and model who is known for participating in reality shows. He has participated and won reality TV shows MTV Roadies 12, MTV Splitsvilla 8 and Nach Baliye 9. Narula is also the winner of Bigg Boss season 9 in 2015. On the set of show, he met Yuvika Chaudhary whom he got married to in October 2018. He has also appeared in soap operas Badho Bahu and Naagin 3.

Season 10 (2016) – Manveer Gurjar

The tenth season of Bigg Boss aired from October 2016 to January 2017 with Manveer Gurjar as the winner of the shoe and Bani J the first runner up. This was the first time that a common man was selected as the winner of Bigg Boss. Manveer has worked in both movies and TV and his notable work includes Radhe, The Bridge and Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi.

Season 11 (2017) – Shilpa Shinde

Shilpa Shinde is an Indian television actress and the winner of Bigg Boss season 11. She was well-known for her character Angoori Bhabhi in the hit comedy serial Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai. She participated in Bigg Boss in its 11^th season that aired in 2017 and was crowned as the winner of the show. Currently, she is a political member of Indian National Congress.

Season 12 (2018) – Dipika Kakar

Winner of the 12^th season of Bigg Boss was well-known actress of Indian television Dipika Kakar Ibrahim. Her breakthrough role was of Simar in Sasural Simar Ka and Sonakshi in Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum. She participated in the reality show Bigg Boss 12 in 2018 where she turned out to be the winner. Before this, she had appeared in the eleventh season of the show as a guest. Dipika has also participated in Nach Baliye 8.

Season 13 (2019) – Sidharth Shukla

Sidharth Shukla was crowned as the winner of Bigg Boss season 13. Sidharth was a popular television and film actor who became the first Indian and Asian to win the World’s Best Model title in December 2005. He is also the winner of another famous reality show Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 7. Shukla was rated as the most popular contestant of Bigg Boss 13 and the most favorite contestant one in polls conducted by Hindustan Times, India TV News, and The Times of India. He has entered in Bigg Boss 14 as one of the “Toofani” seniors for first two weeks.

Season 14 (2020) – Rubina Dilaik

The season 14 of Bigg Boss saw Rubina Dilaik as the winner who took part in the show along with her husband Abhinav Shukla. Rubina is a renowned television actress who gained fame through her acting debut in 2008 portraying Radhika in the popular show Chotti Bahu. She is all set to make her acting debut in Bollywood movies with Ardh releasing in 2022.

Season 15 (2021) – Tejasswi Prakash

Latest season of Bigg Boss, season 15 crowned Indian TV actress Tejasswi Prakash as its winner. Tejasswi is best known for playing Ragini Maheshwari in Swaragini – Jodein Rishton Ke Sur and has also participated in Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 10. In 2021, she appeared in the fifteenth season of Bigg Boss and emerged as the winner. Currently, she is playing the role of Pratha, in Colors popular show Naagin 6.

Season 16 (2023)- MC Stan

MC Stan is Bigg Boss 16 winner. He also won a cash prize of Rs 31,80,000 with Hyundai Grand i10 Nios. The season 16 of Bigg Boss was started on October 1, 2022 and the finale took place on 12th February 2023.
