ITI Delhi admission 2023 will be based on merit of candidates in the qualifying exam. Department of Training & Technical Education Delhi is the concerned authority that takes care of ITI admission in Delhi.

There are 19 government ITI institutes in Delhi and applications are to be invited for over 11000 seats across 54 different trades. All these trades are affiliated with State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT) and National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT).

Delhi ITI 2023 registration will be carried out online at its official website https://itidelhi.admissions.nic.in/. It is expected that the registration process will commence in July.

Eligibility Criteria

Please find below the eligibility requirements for Delhi ITI 2023 admission:

NationalityIndian citizen are only eligible.
Age LimitStudents should be at last 14 years old as on August 1, 2023.
Educational Qualification8th or 10th pass students are eligible. Appearing candidates may also apply.
Physical FitnessIt is necessary to submit Medical Fitness Certificate from a Registered Medical Practitioner.

ITI Delhi 2023 Application Form

Find below the step-by-step process to submit your ITI Delhi 2023 application form in online mode and further you may proceed to choice filling:

Step 1: Register yourself online

Visit the official website of Delhi ITI admission- https://itidelhi.admissions.nic.in/ and click on “New Candidate Registration”.  You need to fill up the registration form in ENGLISH language only. Please note down your application number and password generated after your successful registration.

Step 2: Fill application form

Now proceed to fill your application form. Here you need to choose your category, enter educational qualification details, and contact details.

Step 3: Upload required documents

During registration, you also need to upload the color scanned copy of following original documents in PDF and photo in jpg format. Size of your pdf documents must be in between 50KB to 200KB.

Please note that the size of your recent photograph must be in between 20 kb to 50 kb.

  • Certificate from Delhi Government registered orphanage regarding being inmate of orphanage (If applicable)
  • Certificate from BDO regarding school and residence of candidate located in rural area of Delhi (If Applicable)

  • Class 8th mark sheet and/or certificate
  • Certificate from Headmaster/ Principal of school (for class 8 students)
  • Undertaking by Candidate

Step 4: Preview and submit your application

Have a quick preview of your application filled online and check if everything is correct. Once you find everything is correct, submit your application.

Step 5: Payment of registration fee

You can pay registration fee Rs.200/- using your debit card, credit card, and internet banking.

Admission Process

There are five stages of ITI Delhi admission process and it includes- registration, online verification, choice filling, rank generation and objection filling, and counselling.

State 1- RegistrationRegister yourself online with correct details, uploaded necessary documents and make payment of registration fee.
State 2- Online Verification ITI officials will verify your application form details and documents uploaded online. If there are certain discrepancies, you may check it after login to your account.You may also receive SMS regarding discrepancy (s) in your application form or documents.   
State 3- Choice Filling Once your documents are verified you may fill your ITI/Trade choices within the given timeline. Don’t forget to save and lock your filled choices.
State 4- Rank Generation and Objection Filling The authority will first release the tentative rank list. Fill your objection if your find certain incorrectness/ discrepancy.Once all objections are verified, the concerned authority will release the final rank list.
State 5- Counselling Students may check seat allotment result after login to their account at https://itidelhi.admissions.nic.in/.If no seat is allotted to you then you should wait for the next round of counselling. If a seat allotted to you then you need to choose your preference as either upgrade or freeze. Choose Upgrade- if you are not satisfied with the seat allotted to you and you want to participate in the next round of counselling.Choose Freeze- if you are satisfied with the seat allotted to you.

Physical Reporting, Fee Payment, and Document Verification

If you are satisfied with the seat allotted to you then you have to report physically at the allotted institute, pay admission fee online, and participate in the document verification session.

Physical reporting: You need to visit your allotted ITI in person or call on their helpline to fix an appointment for physical reporting.

Pay fee online: After physical reporting, you need to pay admission fee online before the given timeline.

Please bring the following documents while coming for the physical reporting at your allotted institute:

  • Copy of Provisional admission Slip
  • Copy of seat Allotment letter
  • All your original certificates
  • Medical fitness certificate
  • Set of self attested photocopies of documents to be submitted at the allotted ITI
