Simultala Awasiya Vidyalaya was established on 9th August 2010 to fill the vacuum created by the prestigious Netarhat Residential School that became a part of Jharkhand after the bifurcation of the state. It is the only fully residential and co-educational school government school funded completely by the government of Bihar. The school hosts the children from class –VI to XII and is affiliated to BSEB Patna. Children are selected for admission through open entrance examination conducted here every year for class VI.
