  1. These statements like “Russia can wipe out Ukraine from the map in one week if they want….” It is like I can dress myself in Valentinos clothes if I want,… but I dress instead with Primark shit….LOL LOL

  2. Indonesia should not be ranked so high, it is one thing to have a large army
but not be able to move it between islands is another.
The Indonesian Army is more to keep control of its own population than to defend against an external threat.

  4. The Russian invasion of Ukraine has proved they are not the 2nd most powerful military in the world. It takes more than counting men and equipment to determine a country’s strength. This calls into question the accuracy of this whole league table

    • Not sure what you mean. Russia has barely used any of its best toys yet but has nonetheless captures nearly 1/3 of Ukraine, fighting a proxy war against NATO

      • Dear Ken,
Russia has captured roughly 11% of the nation of Ukraine, aka, just of 1/10th of the country, and it took 6 months. This 1/3 number never existed, and at this point will likely never exist.

        With love,

        Bob

        • Against the majority of NATO armies and weapons, if you add every country which help UKraine, you get 50 countries up against the Russian bear but they are still being decimated kkkk

      • The statements here are highly inaccurate. Not sure what is meant by “Russia has barely used any of it’s toys…”, but I don’t believe most military analysts view weapons as “toys”.

The fact is that Russia has depleted vast amounts of their most sophisticated armaments, and will have a difficult time replacing these weapons quickly in the Ukrainian theatre. This is not a function of Russian production capabilities but a more glaring issue of what is not reflected accurately in this “rankings” of country’s military strength; Logistics.

Russia has modern military equipment, but their logistics infrastructure outside of it’s major cities is still reminiscent of standards not seen since World War 1 in Western Europe.

Secondly, to suggest that Russia holds dominion over 1/3 of Ukraine is a gross exaggeration. Parking a column of armored vehicles on a city highway is not an indication of “military control”. The fact remains that Russia has benefitted from the vastly superior infrastructure of Ukraines transportation network, a side benefit of being the “bread basket” and food source for the Soviet Union for 75 years as well as the ancestral home of Nikita Khrushchev who funneled many rubles to capital improvements in his homeland.

Russia has treated Ukraine as a former “child” that it holds entitlement over, and Putin has miscalculated by believing too many of the “military” rankings that over-estimate the strength of his nation. They have modern weapons, but they do not have the means to effectively sustain the use of modern weapons that are projected beyond their borders due to a lack of a modern logistics infrastructure.

Finally, as to the suggestion that Russia is taking on all 30 NATO nations in a “proxy” war, this is also laughable. NATO nations are providing weapons to Ukrainians, the same Ukrainians who are using those weapons to fight Russia, a country with 8 times the population and holds sway over 1/5 of all the landmass on earth, but for some reason needs to have more, even beyond the Crimea, which seems to be forgotten.

If Russia were actually fighting NATO, provided it stayed conventional, the war would be over within weeks, as there would be no way that any rational military strategist would believe that Russia could realistically defeat NATO. I’m not counting Putin, because like Hitler, he’s not rational.

In 1942, the United States set it’s military doctrine and vision statement; The United States must be able to defeat two major world powers simultaneously, while projecting power across both oceans so that fighting will be distanced from the homeland. Phase 1 was to build the most powerful Navy first backed by the strongest Air Force and well trained army. This started in World War 2.

The next phase came after World War 2 – build the intercontinental highway system to insure the logistical infrastructure to support and sustain that projection of power. The United States spends $770B on it’s military…what they don’t say is that almost 1/2 of this is dedicated to logistics. Without the logistics infrastructure, no military can really be considered strong.

      • America proved that by allowing the Taliban to emerge from a hole and declare victory after hiding for two decades is far smarter and cheaper than wasting anymore time, talent, and treasure in Afghanistan. The United States leaving has not stopped them from imposing their will. Just ask Ayman al-Zawahiri.

        • US never lost a war since 1945. The Korea’s war was to stop the China and north Korea. The Vietnam’s war was the first stage to defeat the invasion of communism during the 70’s and 80’s. When China and US were shaken hand in 1971 then The South Vietnam is no longer a frontline to stop communism and Soviet Union was collapsed after that. America lost a fight but won the war with communism in Europe.
When we witness a conflict somewhere on this earth, we must find out what is the real reason why and how is end and what the purpose.
JUST REMEMBER, THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA IS NOT ENTERED THE CONFLICT JUST FOR FUN. EVERYTHING IS BENEFIT, POWER, BUSINESS, CONTROL AND PROTECTION.

      • No they were not defeated by the Taliban it was a political retreat we had them under control for the most part. We were doing what we said we’d do when we got there we restored democracy for a while when we were there. We encountered resistance of course but we were almost done with them and were getting smarter and smarter about it. Then biden came into office and made our military pull out. We didn’t loose to the Taliban just like we didn’t loose to Vietnam or Iraq our government just decided to pull out (like a lot more men should do) and end those wars before any more citizens in the U.S got upset about it!

      • update yourself on the list of Taliban leaders who are dead. If we wanted to take Afghanistan we would have done so. That wasn’t U.S. force’s mission.

    • Oh please! don’t judge russian military for what you see in the media. At the moment, its the russian military that is tackling the latest NATO weaponry. If Iraq would have got the military support that ukraine is getting right now then the result of US-Iraq war would have been different.

  7. Why is Russia attacking Ukraine? Did they had not have enough in Afghanistan? So far the Russians have been humiliated by the Ukrainians by stopping their advances. Russia has a army 10 times the size of Ukraine. Meanwhile they Ukrainians are holding the Russians off. Ukraine was 1st, underestimated, 2, should have been let in NATO because they are fighting NATO’S enemy, Russia. Go Ukraine! I am donating a bunch of money rn no cap. Ukraine needs our support.

      • So when russian invade ur homeland, hopefully u will have a ‘clever’ president who will order ur army to put down weapon and give russian whatever they want and let them remove ur country from the map. Then no one of ur country will become a ‘puppy’ of US. Just do it, we’ll be proud of u.

      • Russia cant do anything. They are climbing down the military ranking each week. They are not worth in 1-10. Maybe 10-20. NATO could remove Russia in NO TIME only with airplanes EASY
