Ticket Queue

Wimbledon is one of the few tournaments in the world where you can buy premium tickets on the day of play. Many Wimbledon fans also enjoy the experience of the queue itself.

Every match day, a large queue is formed at the Wimbledon Ticket counter to buy either an available limited show ticket or a ground ticket. Usually, the queue begins in Wimbledon Park. You need to reach early because the queue increases very early in the morning.

Ticket through Public Ballot

You can also enter the ballot online to get tickets for Wimbledon 2025. Please note that entering the ballot doesn’t guarantee that you will get a ticket. It is so because more people will be entering the ballot than the number of available tickets.

Those who will get success in the ballet will get tickets for a specific day/ court. You can then pay the amount to buy the ticket. The process of entering the ballot is explained below.

  • First of all, you need to visit the official Wimbledon website i.e. www.wimbledon.com, and sign up for the ballot.
  • Next, you will get a registration link for the event most probably in September.
  • Furthermore, you will be able to apply for the tickets in November.

After you apply to enter the Wimbledon Public Ballot, you will get an email from February 2024 onwards. This email will have all the required information related to the ticket offer and instructions on how to make payment.

Conditions Of Entry to the Court

  1. A valid ticket is necessary to enter the ground.
  2. Only one bag is allowed per person. The size of the bag should not be larger than 40 cm x 30cm x 30cm.
  3. The security officials will check all the bags at the time of entry.
  4. Babies in arms and children under the age of 5 years are not allowed to enter the following courts – Centre Court, Court No.1, Court No.2, Court No.3, Court No. 12, and Court No. 18.
  5. Children over the age of 5 years need to have their own tickets. This ticket will be charged at the full price.
