While growing up, Will spent his early years playing golf at the outstanding California Golf Club with his dad. He spent most of his teenage years too playing in junior tournaments in Texas.

Professional Career of Will Zalatoris
In 2014, Zalatoris won the US Junior Amateur title while representing the Trinity Christian Academy in Addison, Dallas. He then attended Wake Forest University in North Carolina, where he was named ACC Player of the Year in 2017. Other than this, Will also became a member of the US Walker Cup team in the same year. After gaining enough experience, he left school after his junior year to turn a professional.
Will turned professional in 2018 but was unsuccessful to make it to the second stage of the Korn Ferry Tour Q School. His first professional victory came in July 2020, when he won the TPC Colorado Championship narrowly by one stroke. In April of 2021, Zalatoris came second in the Masters’ Tournament and in the same year was also voted the PGA Tour Rookie of the Year for the 2020–21 season.
