Kari Lake was born in 1969, in Rock Island, Illinois to Larry A. Lake and Sheila A. Lake. Her father was a teacher and football and basketball coach from Richland Center, Wisconsin, and her mother was a nurse from Appleton, Wisconsin. Lake has eight other siblings and she is the youngest of them all. She grew up in Iowa and graduated from North Scott Senior High School in Eldridge, Iowa. Kari holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications and journalism from the University of Iowa.
