Rohan Narayana Murty was born in 1982 or 1983 (date not exactly known) in Karnataka, India, to Sudha and N. R. Narayana Murthy. His father is a billionaire businessman and the founder of Infosys while his mother is an engineer and author. Murty did his schooling at the Bishop Cotton Boys’ School in Bangalore. He had a passion for programming since a very young age and therefore after completing school, he moved to the US and enrolled in Cornell University to pursue an undergraduate course in Computer Science.
