Chrissy Teigen was born on November 30, 1985, in Delta, Utah to Vilailuck and Ron Teigen. After Chrissy’s birth, her parents moved to Washington where they ran a tavern. When Chrissy was 15 years old, her mother returned to Thailand and her father relocated them to Huntington Beach, California. Her parents got divorced recently in 2019 and his father got remarried. From his father’s second marriage, Chrissy has an older half-sister Tina Teigen.

Initial Career

After she moved to Huntington Beach, California in 2000, Teigen started working at a surf shop. With the help of the shop’s clients, she landed a modeling campaign with the clothing company Billabong and later got discovered by a photographer. Controversies

In 2021, television personality Courtney Stodden stated that she and her ex-husband actor Doug Hutchison got a private message from Teigen in 2011 urging them to kill themselves. Following this, Teigen apologized to Stodden. Soon after this incident, television personality Farrah Abraham and fashion designer Michael Costello also spoke about being targeted by the model. Costello even posted screenshots of messages from Teigen. However, Teigen claimed these screenshots to be fake but Costello said he had evidence regarding the same.
