About Dr. A.N. Khosla DAV Public School, Ring Road Chowk Basanti Nagar, Rourkela

Padma Vibhusan Dr. A.N.Khosla, the then Governor of Odisha, launched the DAV movement in the State, in 1968. As the Vice-President of the DAV College Trust and Management Society, Dr. Khosla pioneered the spread of literacy and technical education even in the far-flung areas of the State. The present school building is a result of his efforts. It initially housed the SKDAV women’s Polytechnic and was inaugurated by Dr. Triguna Sen, one-time Union Minister for Education and a   member of the Rajya-Sabha, in 1968.
