In March 2022, it was announced that Detroit has been selected as the host to the 2024 NFL draft after beating the finalists Green Bay and Washington DC. Areas around Campus Martius Park and Hart Plaza in downtown Detroit will serve as the site for the three-day event.

Date & Time of NFL 2024 Draft

The NFL Draft to be held in 2024 will be the 89th annual meeting of the National Football League (NFL). 32 teams will participate in these meetings to select newly eligible players for next year’s football match. Detroit was chosen as the host city on March 28, 2022, in an announcement made at the Annual League Meeting in Palm Beach, Florida. The draft is scheduled to be held from April 25 to 27, 2024 with a total of seven rounds held over three days.

The first round of the draft will take place on April 25 starting at 8 pm ET. Rounds 2 and 3 will take place on April 26 from 7 pm onward followed by the second night’s festivities. The draft will close out with Rounds 4 through 7 on April 27 which will begin at 12 pm ET.
