Male Candidates’ Physical Fitness:- 157.5 centimeters tall, with a chest measurement of 81 centimeters (fully expanded with a minimum expansion of 5 cm). As part of the application process, individuals must demonstrate their ability to walk 1600 meters in 15 minutes and cycle 8 kilometers in 30 minutes.

Physical requirements for female applicants include a height of 152 cm and a weight of 48 kg. Female applicants must also pass a test that requires them to walk one kilometer in 20 minutes and cycle three kilometers in 25 minutes.

Salary for an Income Tax Officer

The income of an Income Tax Officer, i.e., inspector, varies based on a number of criteria, including the state in which you work, your years of experience, and your job description. How to become Income Tax Officer in 2023?

To become an Income Tax Officer, you must pass all levels of one of two primary types of exams: the CPA exam and the ITR test. The following are the tests required to become an Income Tax Officer (ITO):

SSC CGL Exam

It stands for the Staff Selection Commission – Combined Graduate Level examination, or SSC-CGL. The Staff Selection Commission of India administers this well-known examination for the purpose of selecting candidates for various government positions. In order to become an Income Tax Officer, one must pass this test. This means that applicants must take the SSC-CGL test at every level and pass each one. The SSC-CGL test is given in four phases by the Staff Selection Commission of India.

1.Preliminary examination (prelims) (Tier-1)

It’s a two-part test administered entirely online. General Intelligence/General Awareness and Arithmetic are the two categories. A total of 100 objective-type questions with a maximum of 100 marks are included in each paper. In addition, each paper lasts for two hours.

2. Secondary Exam 2 (Tier-2)

3. Interview process (Tier-3)
