About Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Giridih
Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Gandey ,Giridih was established on 14th September ,1994 in a small welfare hostel, provided by the district administration,23 km away from the present location. The Vidyalaya was shifted from temporary site to permanent site, but again in temporary building, in December 1997.In spite of poor infrastructure and the least facilities, Vidyalaya had flourished well and set itself as a model school in the district as well as in Patna Region.
