  • Scroll down to the bottom of the screen.
  • You will find Show transaction history option.

Quick Ways Delete Google Pay Transaction History in 2023

Google Pay saves the information about every transaction made through this application. There is also no option available for deleting transaction history of Google Pay. But there is an alternate method to delete G Pay transaction history and that is from Google Chrome. Once you have followed the instructions given below, your payments transactions will be deleted from your Google Account and will no longer show in Google Pay.

Step 1: Open your device and launch Google Chrome.

Step 2: Go to “www.google.com” and locate Google Account.

Step 3: Log in to your account using Google credentials.

Step 4: Click on options sign (three horizontal lines) on the top left corner.

Step 5: Select ‘Data and Privacy’ and go to ‘History Settings’.

Step 6: Click on ‘Web and App Activity’ and then go to Manage All web & app activity.

Step 7: Tap on option sign (three vertical lines) on the search bar.

Step 8: Select ‘Other Google Activity’ and go to Google Pay experience.

Step 9: Under Google Pay experience, tap ‘Manage Activity’.

Step 10: Click on Delete drop down arrow to select the part of transaction you want to delete from history.

Step 11: Select from “last hour”, “last day”, “custom range” and “all time” as per your choice.

Step 12: Click on Delete to proceed with transaction history deletion.

As per the option selected, transaction history for the selected time period will be deleted after that. Usually, it takes around 12 hours to reflect the status of deleted history.

Method to delete Google Pay transaction history in mobile

It is possible to delete transaction history of Google Pay through mobile but not through the G Pay app. Apparently, Google Pay does not provide the option history deletion. The steps to delete Google Pay transaction history in mobile are same as above.

Just open Google chrome browser in your mobile device and follows the above-mentioned steps. Similar to above, it will take approximately 12 hours to refresh the status of transaction history.
