Praveena Aanjna was born in the Kasuda Village in Chhoti Sadri Tehsil in Pratapgarh District of Rajasthan State. The name of Praveena’s father is Jagdish Aanjna. He is a farmer by profession. On the other hand, her mother Shanti is a housewife.

Aanjna completed her schooling from a school in Neemuch district of Madhya Pradesh. Then, she moved to Udaipur to prepare to become a Chartered Accountant. She was a brilliant student and passed the CA exam with ease.

After completing CA, she moved to Mumbai to do her articleship in a firm. Apart from studies, she was interested in modelling from a young age. She got a chance to live her modelling dream when she participated in a beauty contest during her articleship.

In an interview, Praveena said she always wanted to complete her articleship before seriously participating in any beauty pageant. However, destiny had something else in store for her. She was chosen as the finalist of Miss International India 2023 and eventually won the same.

Will Represent India in Miss International

Praveena will be representing India in this year’s “Miss International” competition to be organised by Divine Group. The pageant will be held in October 2023 in Japan. She will try her best to win this title and bring glory to India.

She has already started her preparation for the upcoming pageant. She said in an interview, “Girls from 16 states participated in this contest organised in Delhi. All the girls came from different institutes. Everyone had mastered their respective subjects, but I won this title in the beauty contest by presenting myself as I am.”

After completing CA, Praveena started working in Mumbai.
As a chartered accountant, she had a handsome salary package. However, she always wanted to do something different.
According to Praveena, it was extremely difficult to prepare for the contest along with the work pressure at the job.
Currently, she is not working as a CA and dedicated herself completely to Miss International preparation.

We all know Praveena is not from a hardcore modelling background. So, she opted for technology to learn about beauty pageants. She learned how to walk, ask and answer questions, etc. by watching videos on YouTube. The judges loved her natural way of talking and smart answers.

Support from Family

Unlike many Indian girls, Praveena always had support from her family to pursue her dream of becoming a model. Her brother Lokesh supported her the most and helped her make this dream come true.

Praveena’s parents were shocked when they came to know that she had been declared Miss International India 2023. Later, this surprise turned into happiness and they supported Praveena whole-heartedly.
