The Election Commission of India celebrating the 13th National Voters Day 2023 on 25th January 2023 to mark its foundation day. This day focuses on increasing awareness among young voters to participate in country’s polling process. National Voters Day was observed on January 25, 2011 for the first time. Several programs such as Xojaag Voter Competition in Sivasagar district, Mass Outreach Program in Assam and many others are planned to be organized on Tuesday, 25 January this year.
On this occasion, National Awards will be also given to stakeholders such as EC icons, government departments and media groups for their outstanding role towards the contribution among voters.
Two major ECI publications- ‘Leap of Faith: Journey of Indian Elections’ and ‘Pledging to Vote – A decadal Journey of The National Voters Day in India’ to be also launched today.
