Bahubali 1: The Beginning

The first Bahubali movie revolved around the life of Shivudu or Mahendra Bahubali who was the son of Amarendra Bahubali. Shivudu reach Mahishmati following a mask of a woman who later turned out to be Avantika, a member of the resistance group against Mahishmati’s corrupt ruler Bhallaladeva. Shivudu helps Avantika free Devsena, who was the wife of Amarendra Bahubali. It turns out that Shivudu is actually Mahendra Bahubali, the son of Amarendra Bahubali and Devsena. Amarendra Bahubali was the rightful king of Mahishmati who falls prey to the evil plan of Bhallaladeva and loses his life.  Shivudu learns the truth and vows to kill Bhallaladeva and restore peace and prosperity in Mahishmati.

Bahubali 2: The Conclusion

The second part of the movie gets into a flashback and shows glimpses of the life of Amarendra Bahubali. From his birth to the achievements that made him the true ruler of Mahishmati, the story is presented in a very systematic way. It then tells progresses to how  Bahubali fell in love with Devasena and got married to her. Jealous that he got a beautiful wife and a kingdom to rule, Bhallaladeva plans the assassination of Bahubali and succeeds in the same by manipulating Rajmata Sivgami. Finally, Bahubali is killed by Kattapa and the story returns to the present time where Shivudu successfully avenges his father’s death and is crowned the king.

The storyline of Bahubali 3 will again be focused on Amarendra Bahubali and will take the audience back to the journey of his life. However, the story will be completely different and unrelated to what fans have seen in the first two movies.
