The Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) Foundation is likely to invite application for ONGC scholarship 2024 for SC/ST/OBC/General category from July 2024. The application form will be available online at ongcscholar.org. Students who are studying in the first year of Engineering, MBA, MBBS, and Master in Geophysics/Geology programme are eligible to avail this scholarship scheme.
ONGC scholarship for SC/ST: 1000 selected SC/ST category students are eligible to receive a scholarship of Rs. 48,000/- every year.
ONGC scholarship for OBC: 500 selected OBC category students are eligible to receive a scholarship of Rs. 48,000/- every year.
ONGC scholarship for General: 500 selected general category students are eligible to receive a scholarship of Rs. 48,000/- every year.

Eligibility for SC/ST category candidates

Documents to be submitted by Students
It will be required to submit the following documents:
- Copy of Birth Certificate/Class 10 Mark sheet as proof of age.
- Certified copy of Caste Certificate in Hindi/English.
- Copy of Class 12-mark sheet in case of Engineering/MBBS students.
- Certified copy of annual income certificate of the family in Hindi/English language.
- Copy of consolidated Graduation mark sheet in case of MBA/Master’s in Geology/Geophysics students.
- Copy of PAN card or the tentative date for submission of PAN card copy (in case it is not available.
- Bank details of the applicant in the ECS form attested by the bank as prescribed.
- Copy of undertaking.
- Copy of Adhaar Card
How to Apply for ONGC Scholarship 2024?
Candidates who meet the aforesaid criteria are required to submit the application form online by visiting its official website www.ongcscholar.org.
Candidates are required to complete application along with all compulsory documents duly certified and attested by their Head/Principal/ Dean of the Institute/ College/University. The same needs to be uploaded and it will be also required to send hard copies of the same to the registered office of ONCG according to the details given in the application format.
ONGC Scholarship 2024 Selection Process
Candidates are selected based on aggregate marks scored in the qualifying exam. If students have similar marks in the qualifying exam then the preference would be given to students having lower family income.
Preferences are given to students under BPL category. Other category candidates are considered only if the required number of students under BPL category not available.
For SC/ST Category
