Maharashtra PUP/ PSS Scholarship 2024 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for appearing in the Maharashtra PUP/ PSS Scholarship examination 2024 are given below.

Domicile:

Only the candidates belonging to the state of Maharashtra can apply for the scholarship exam.

Age limit:

For PUP, the age of the candidates should not be more than 11 years (15 years for PH candidates).
For PUP, the age of the candidates should not be more than 14 years (18 years for PH candidates).

Income criteria:

The annual family income of the candidate from all sources should not exceed Rs 20,000/-.

Academic criteria:

For PUP, the students of class 5^th studying in a recognized school/ board are eligible to apply.
For PSS, the students of class 8^th studying in a recognized school/ board are eligible to apply.

The application form for Maharashtra PUP/ PSS Scholarship examination 2024 will be made available through online mode. Candidates who meet the prescribed eligibility criteria can obtain the application form from the official website https://www.mscepuppss.in/.

To fill the application form, the candidates will be required to provide their personal and academic details.
Choice for question paper language and for exam center should also be provided into the application form.

Admit Card

The admit card for appearing in the Maharashtra PUP/ PSS Scholarship examination 2024 will be published on the official website.
Candidates should take a printout of the admit card and carry it with them while reporting to the exam center.
Only the candidates holding a valid admit card will be allowed to enter the exam hall and give the exam.
The candidates should keep their admit card safe from damage or distortion as such admit cards will not be considered as valid.
Details of the exam center, date and timing will be mentioned on the admit card of the students.

Answer Key

The answer key for both PUP and PSS exam will be made available on the official website.
Candidates can check the answer key of their exam and if they find any discrepancy, they can raise objection against the same.
Any grievances against the answer key can be submitted to the authorities within 10 days of release of the answer key.
Authorities will verify these objections and if error is found, they will correct them. Final answer key will be uploaded on the official website again.

Result

Result of the scholarship exam will be declared by the authorities through online mode and can be check from official website.
Using their seat number, the candidates will be able to check their result.
A merit list of the qualified students will be made on the basis of marks secured in the scholarship exam.
Candidates will be selected for appropriate scholarships as per their merit in the exam.
