- Shaheed Uddham Singh Jayanti- Udham Singh was an Indian revolutionary who is well-known for assassinating Michael O’Dwyer, the lieutenant responsible for Jallianwala Bagh massacre. His birthday is celebrated with high patriotism in the states of Punjab and Haryana. It is celebrated on 26th of December every year.
- Haryana Day- Haryana Day is a regional holiday of Haryana state. Haryana was formed as a new state on November 1, 1966 and from that day onward, this day is celebrated as Haryana Day. The year 2023 will mark the 57th anniversary of Haryana Day.
- Heroes’ Martyrdom Day- Heroes’ Martyrdom Day is a regional public holiday in Haryana that commemorates the sacrifice made by freedom fighter Rao Tula Ram who died on this very day. He was one of the main fighters of the first major Indian rebellion in the year 1857. The death anniversary of Tula Ram is celebrated as Heroes’ Martyrdom Day on 23rd September every year.
